Heaven Awaits...
Powerful beings known as Titans have seized control of Heaven.

Choose from a lineup of five brand new clans, each with its own unique strengths and gameplay to forge strategies fitting your personal playstyle.
Focus on the core mechanics of a single faction or create a hybrid alliance of lethal synergy by mixing and matching - Monster Train's signature team-blending clan creation returns. With three vertical levels to defend against dangerous new enemies, you’ll need to recruit powerful new units, upgrade cards, and experiment to survive. Will you defeat the all-new and ultra-challenging Titans?
Familiar gameplay, reborn
Reach your deck’s full build potential with all new Room and Equipment Cards.
Room Cards add impressive boosts to your train, allowing you new strategic advantages over your foes. Equipment Cards can be applied to units, giving them a variety of bonuses to aid you in battle! Customization also extends to the Pyre at the core of your train. Each Pyre Heart brings unique functionality to gameplay. Unlocking Pyre Hearts not only provide gameplay changes, but also play a key role in advancing the story.
All Aboard
If the rogue-like run-based adventure isn't enough, Monster Train 2 comes packed with a myriad of new and returning modes.
Take on the ever-changing Daily Challenge as you fight for the top spot on the leaderboards against your friends and players worldwide. Embark on runs with handcrafted scenarios in the Dimensional Challenges mode with unique modifiers and inhibitors that will force you to think on your feet. Oh and did we mention train personalization, Endless Mode, and visitors from realms outside the Monster Train universe?

Monster Train 2 is Monster Train but 2. It is the most standard kind of sequel. The first game, but more. More stuff, more polish, more mechanics. If you liked the first one you'll like this. If you're wondering where to start just get this one. Good job Shiny Shoe, this rules.

Read the full review on SteamInstant buy if you like deckbuilders. This is a straight upgrade to Monster Train 1 (which you should play beforehand!) The story is laughably bad, but gameplay is king and MT2 is unmatched in this genre.

Read the full review on SteamI loved Inscryption and Slay the Spire, but the limited content always left me wanting more. This game delivers both depth and fun in a way that feels incredibly satisfying. If those games clicked for you, this one is an easy recommendation.
